What is this tool all about..??

A freeware utility to calculate the hash of multiple files.  This is a 128-bit number usually expressed as a 32 character hexadecimal number.  It can be said to be the 'signature' of a file or string and is used in many applications, including checking the integrity of downloaded files. Duplicate Cleaner can use hashes to compare files. This compact application helps you quickly and easily list the hashes of your files.

How To Use:


1. Install MD 5 Hash Tool Generator through the exe and open the application.
2. Open Notepad and create any text file named " Test.txt " . and type anything inside and just save it
note: we are just creating the new text file inorder just to test the tool, we can also take any file.


3. Now open the tool and click on the " Select File " and select your file i.e navigate through the open window and open the your file.


4. The Hash value for the File appears in the screen.
5. Now again open the file and make some changes in its text content and see again the new Hash Value.

Uses:
You can use this tool to know the integrity of any files,if you had maintain its hash value previously.
